US Senate Productivity and Quality Award for Virginia (SPQA-VA)

The U.S. Senate Productivity and Quality Award for Virginia (SPQA-VA) is
the Commonwealth's premier awards program for performance excellence.
More than an award, the SPQA Program helps Virginia organizations
achieve performance excellence through a process of training and
education, evaluation, feedback, and recognition. The SPQA uses the
performance excellence criteria and core values from the Malcolm
Baldrige National Quality Award, which are used by many top public and
private institutions as a proven business model.  During the past 20+
years, hundreds of Virginia organizations have participated in SPQA to
stay abreast of competition and to improve performance.  Today's
business and government environment make it imperative that
organizations focus on current challenges: openness and transparency in
governance and ethics, the need to create value for customers, the
challenge of rapid innovation, and capitalizing on knowledge assets. No
matter the size or complexity of your organization, the Baldrige
performance excellence criteria provide a valuable framework that can
help you plan in an uncertain environment.  The SPQA Discovery Program
will introduce your organization to the Baldrige criteria and provide
feedback to enhance its further implementation.
